G'day Folks,
I hope i'm in the right forum here... If not, please move me, mr Moderator :)
I want to connect my SonyEricsson to my PC via USB so that I can transfer files between the two, update addressbook, etc, etc. Unfortunately I'm pretty close to clueless. I've tried to use gammu, multisync, kandy and kmobiletools - all with a spectacular lack of success. This lack is probably ascribable to my general cluelessness and not to the apps. Therefore, if anybody can point me in the right direcyion, I'd be mot grateful.
I'm running 2.6.14-kanotix-9.
Cheers

hi, with my sonyericsson k750i i just stick the cable in the usb port, plug fone in other end and open konquerer, click system tab on left side then storage media and it shows as sda1 which is the fone click icon and it gets mounted, you can then read and write to the file system. just remember to right click sda1 icon and select unmount before you unplug fone, *last point is very important!*
cheers kstevek
edit; you do seem to have an older kernel to me which may affect your results but hey, try it... |
