Titel: saving images in google earth

I am trying out the new Google Earth linux beta and I am having a
problem when I try to save images. If I go to the menu and choose
"File->Save Image", the option is greyed out and unavailable for use.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem, and how one might fix it? A
google search turns up someone else reporting the problem in a online
forum, but no response.

Same problem with 'Save image'. Tried e-mailing image but no attachment arrived . . but you can Copy image and paste into a document or GIMP . . or take a screen snapshot.

| Downloaded it the other day but never checked it out. Saving images seems to work ok for me from the menu or otherwise on Easter-rc4. |

| Now that I have checked out beta on Kanotix and Windows I would say it's more towards alpha! IMO it's almost unusable on both OS's compared to the stable version which I re-installed. Unfortunately only beta is available for Linux. |

| Hmmm... strange. I am running Kanotix-Easter-RC4. Well, for now I will just copy and paste into GIMP as a workaround, as suggested. Thanks! |
