Hi all,

New here to the site and i have to say that Kanotix rocks!!! I installed it after my Win XP crashed for the 5th time and i am on the net and posting through linux as we speak....loving it!!!!

Question though. Everything seems to work fine except for a small minor mouse problem. I installed kanotix on my laptop and and my mouse (touchpad) acts a little weird. When viewing pages if i barely touch the mouse pad it is as if i have hit the back button on the browser and it goes back to the previous page.

Same thing happens on the desktop. After clicking on the K start button if i barely touch the pade when scrolling up the listing it clears away just like i have selected an option.

Anyone have any advise on how to fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And once again....Linux Rocks!!!!

disable Konqueror mouse gestures (from the Control Center > Regional & Accessibility > Input Actions). if that doesn't work, disable horizontal scrolling for your trackpad (Control Center > Peripherals > Touch Pad). if you haven't done so, install KSynaptics in order to have a GUI for configuring your trackpad.

How do I enable my Touchpad ?

I am running Kantoix Easter RC4 on a Dell Latitude C600
Video card is ATI Rage Mobility x800

I have the synaptics drivers, the latest Xorg driver including the flgrx. Installed Ksynaptics and qsynaptics. qsynaptics says I have the synaptics drivers installed.

Tried to use the configure in KDE COntrol Center. Nothing works.

running the Program, just type ksynaptcs
