Hallo
seit gestern ist neuer kernel running: "KanotixBox" running Linux 4.19.0-3-generic i686

hat das noch jemand ?
das hier:

beim letzten 4.4 kernel war das nicht ... linux-image-4.4.0-138-generic 4.4.0-138.164kanotix1 i386 Linux kernel image for version 4.4.0 on 32 bit x86 SMP

Rückmeldung:
Die Partition mit kanotix32 ist nur 12-GB gross. Bisher hatte ich alle Thunderbird (icedove) - uralt-Mails auf dem Rechner mitgeschleppt. Jetzt konnte Thunderbird nicht mehr komprimieren, weil die Partition voll war.
Jetzt - nachdem alle alten Mails auf DVD archiviert sind - ist wieder Platz.
Der 32-Kernel 4.19 generic... läuft seitdem anstandslos. Es scheint aber für Kanotix32 der pae - Kernel "normal" zu sein ??

Bei nur 12-GB kannste auch mal das Verzeichnis leeren, wo die heruntergeladenen Pakete liegen. Dort sind alle die beim installieren von Programme oder upgrade angefallen sind gespeichert. Wenn noch nicht gemacht kommt da auch schon einiges zusammen. Am einfachsten geht es als su in der Konsole anmelden und Befehl

apt-get clean

Speicherplatz überprüfen mit Befehl

Code:

df -h

Kannste ja vorher und nachher machen und schauen ob es was gebracht hat.
