          Hi:

I had a good working system. I downloaded Adobe Reader 8.1.1 and installed it, I did not like it so I removed it. Now I am unable to view any PDF file through KPDF, It was opening all PDF files, within Konqueror. Now my PDf files dont show any Icon for KPDF. When I use kdpf to open a pdf file. KPDF opens up with no file being opened.

Please help me get my computer back to normal.

Thanks,

AJ |

          In former times I never had problems to open a pdf file in Kanotix.

This year I had problems to open pdf-files with kpdf (but always from a single homepage). First I only could open it in Win with foxit reader.

Once I was in another Linux and gnome, opened the pdf-file with evince without problems.

So I installed evince in Kanotix, too. Now I can open pdf-files whenever I have problems with kdpf. But don't have any idea, why pdf and pdf is not the same |

          | You can try to reinstall kpdf:
 Code:
sux

apt-get remove kpdf

apt-get update && apt-get install kpdf

 |
