I want install at my portable computer inspiron 630m with graphic card:
Intel i915PM with GMA900 graphics the module 915resolution and take resolution ideal.
Also the microfon is not operative the model is:
Sigmatel STAC9750 HD audio codec / Intel ICH6 HD Audio
also the modem is not operative the model is:Conexant HDA D110 MDC V.92 Modem
i have installed 2006-01-RC4
how can i install all well, thanks |

| I have installed the module 915resolution but is not posible have resolution ideal only vesa ,Do you know any solution, thanks |

| You need i810 instead of vesa in /etc/X11/xorg.conf. |

And the microfon wich is the solution. Also when i want change resolution
my root password is not valid. thanks |

| Thats logical that this does not work, you can use knxcc. Thats a custom res, that requires the use of 915resultion. Therefore you need to configure that manually or use a tool that does this for you. |
