Hi,
I tried to execute a program or script on the mounted cd, which is mounted under /media/hdc.
Even if I do this as root it does'nt work.

brwxrwxrwx 1 root cdrom 22, 0 Dec 5 18:48 /dev/hdc
root@reithi-lt:/tmp# ll /media/hdc/bin/pc_linux/filecvt
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 26887 Jun 9 2005 /media/hdc/bin/pc_linux/filecvt
