Hi!
System: 2005_04 as LiveCD w/USB home on Dell 9300 Laptop (Intel PRO/2200)
I use netcardconfig after I boot to setup my WiFi connection and use WPA. I can't use
myconfig=scan at boot because sometimes the internal wireless is eth1 and other times
its eth0 at boot.
My question is sometimes I might misstype the network name in netcardconfig or the
connection will die. If I run netcardconfig again nothing happens, no errors or messages.
I'm going to try it from the shell next time too see if there are any messages. What I'd like
to know is what is the Linux equivalent of windoze "repair network connection" ?

if you have configured your netcard once, no need for doing this again
you can just reconfig zthe settigns with ifconfig ethX or if you are using dhcp, ifup ethX or dhclient ethX |
