Software - how to upgrade safe packages and ignore unauthenticated ones bobS - 22.12.2015, 00:12 Uhr Titel: how to upgrade safe packages and ignore unauthenticated ones
hello, a notification pops asking to upgrade some ~130 packages. i started synaptic-package manager and clicked "mark all upgrades". It lists dozens packages as "cannot be authenticated". How i can upgrade all skipping unauthenticated ones? thanks, bob.

In terminal run the following command before running Synaptic:
Code:
sudo apt-get update

you should use in irc
!wine-staging
first.

hi,
sudo apt-get update on a xterm returned:
W: GPG error: http://mozilla.debian.net squeeze-backports Release: The following signatures were invalid: KEYEXPIRED 1352888501,
and,
W: Failed to fetch http://repos.wine-staging.com/debian/di ... ackages.gz 404 Not Found.

Sorry, but your install is not supported anymore. Your version is Hellfire, but this is is old-oldstable. Update to Spitfire, in case of low ram use LXDE variant.
