Erweiterungen:

Solving problem: apt-get dist-upgrade

The following problem arises, again and again:

:code:dpkg: Error when working on /var/cache/apt/archives/........dep ....
tries to overwrite ».....« , which is also in ..... package.:code:
and the apt-get dist-upgrade stops.

To solve that one can do:

:code:dpkg --force-overwrite -i /var/cache/apt/archives/..........deb:code:

Observe and read carefully the resulting messages, after... /apt/archives/...
and then run:

:code:apt-get -f install:code:

until no more errors are displayed.

And then run

# apt-get update && apt-get dist-update

until no more errors are displayed.
